Darien High School Participation Fee 

The Darien Public Schools require that each student participating in a Darien High School sanctioned club, sport or activity pay a $100 participation fee per student, per academic year.  Students will be allowed to attend tryouts and informational meetings prior to submitting their participation fee, however, they will not be allowed to attend practices/meetings/games until the fee has been paid.  This fee will be nonrefundable upon placement on the official roster and does not guarantee a specific amount of participation time.  This fee is in addition to any club/sports assessment fees which may currently exist or be required.

Prior to completing your transaction, you (the parent/guardian) will be asked to give an electronic signature stating that you and your participating student have read, understand and agree to be bound by the “Darien High School Extra-Curricular and Athletic Eligibility and Participation Contract.”  Advisors/coaches will review the contract with each participant at the onset of each “season”.
